I took my calculus test and wondering if I got this answer wrong or at least partially correct?

the problem looked like 5x^5/2 + 2x^3/2 - 7x^1/2

so I factored out x^1/2 and then I solved the other part using the quadratic formula. the problem is i got 3 solutions to x = 0, -1, and then a fraction. the exact numbers arent like they were on the test just a similar form. problem is on my graphing calculator it only showed 0, -1 as x solutions so i put that as my answer excluding the fraction. is that technically right? or should the fraction have been included as well?

I only included the the solutions that crossed the x axis on the graph?

Unfortunately there is no real philosophy board on 4chan, his people are int tier. And x is too schizo so I am making this thread from a sort of Pythagorean perspective of math + philosophy not algebra or whatever. Anyways.I tried a similar thread on his a few days ago but they didnt get it.

So I'm just thinking a lot, trying to understand the fundamental nature of reality, reddit tier spaghetti monsters dont bother. But Clearly, everyone can agree that this world/universe,dimension is the 4th dimension (even though called 3d)
0 point
1 line
2 polygon
3 solid or whatever youd call it

and in those you get the forces of Unity, strife, harmony, and the material. As well as the 4 main states of matter not including the liminal ones etc.

The interesting thing though, is that there are 5 platonic solids, and if you include a sphere, 6. Interesting thing about a sphere or a circle is that you can view it as an infinitely sided polygon or one with no sides at all, perhaps they are one in the same like the symbol of unity it represents, the ourobouros, so perhaps the material world is indeed spherical. anyways. There are "5 elements" as well as the 5 platonic solids, fire earth water air and the aether or akasha, Basically what I'm wondering to which degree the universe truly is, the 4th/10th if you view the 4 dimensions as a tetractys or the 4th triangular number? the 5th due to the 5 elements or platonic solids? or the 6th if you include circles and sphere. Cause although sphere dont fit nicely into the definition of platonic solids, they are real in the world of ideas, and they definitely exist but maybe only there. Anyways. Perhaps the 5th dimension is like the platonic solids, real objects that fill the 4th dimension which is the material itself rather than actualy material. But idk. Im trying to figure out the numerical value to the highest or lowest order of things, is it 4,5,6,7,10? Thoughts on this appreciated and if you dont understand something just ask

Happy black history month /sci/!
ITT: we discuss the history of blacks in the sciences. You soibois can discuss your white ppl science in the other threads, don't pollute this thread with that stuff. Black science only ITT

scientifically speaking, noise cancelling headphones cancel sounds by making the opposite sound, neutralizing the wave to zero. so when i hear my neighbors blasting nigger music, how can i get the anti nigger music to fight their nigger music, scientifically speaking.?

Why can we just make up some bullshit for the square root of negative one but division by zero is still undefined?

Looks like yet another group is cashing in on spintronics, although someone needs to talk to their editor and explain to them that a spintronic computer based upon filtering out certain electrons is not the same thing as a superconducting wire.

Their method is also unsuitable for my photonic binning imaging system since, according to them, photons/electrons can only spin up or down and therefore there's no reason to think about the degrees of a circle.

Not to say that their advancement isn't useful because it does have its merits, but I am not even going to bother accusing a group like that of plagiarism when they don't even seem to grasp that this is not a superconductor.

I actually figured out how to transmit energy down a wire at approaching the efficiency of a superconductor at room temperature and I was pretty much the person who came up with the connection between superconduction and phonons (also being talked about at lot this week) so when I see stuff like this, I have to wonder if this isn't grant-seeking behavior.

Can someone please explain Einstein Rosen bridge to me? I have a degree in physics but was always an experimentalist never really got too into the super heavy theory of it.

I just really don’t see how it works. And if it the concept could somehow be brought to reality, how/what would be needed to bring a concept like this to fruition?
