Can you guys help me with my Boltzman Law chem homework please? I'm totally lost since I overslept and missed the lecture on it.

1.) The ratio nj/n1 = 0.40 for a system at 175K. What is ??i,j for this system?

2.) In a system with energy levels evenly spaced by 3.0 x 10^-19 J at 250K, n0 is 1.0 x 10^10. What is n1?

3.) It was determined from spectroscopy that nj/ni =0.15 and ??i,j =7.8 x 10^-21J. (a) What is the temperature of the system? (b) If the temperature of the system was found to be 400K, what would the observed nj/ni be?

4.) For a certain reaction to occur, a particle in a system has to have an energy of at least 3.0 x 10^-20J above the ground state. What fraction of the particles will have enough energy to react (a) at 100K? (b) at 500K?

Make a case for this without appealing to lookism. Lookism is fag.

I have wondered for a while now about this - and it might not be entirely possible in reality but bare with me here
A cube of 5cm3, filled up with 4cm3 of water.
The material of the cube is indestructible, doesn't give way and it's 100% waterproof.

The cube shrinks and eventually fills up entirely with water. The cube keeps shrinking. It won't stop getting smaller.
What happens next?

ITT: Talk about anything related to the university major or PhD degree. I'll start. What is covered in an Introduction to Mathematical Software course? Will I be able to solve all of the problems on the wikipedia list? Should I read A Mathematician's Apology?
