I mean, based on evidence like embryology (basically all vertebrates look the same as embryos), taxonomy and the way that lineages just happen to come into place (like cmon, where else would all those fossils come from?), a basic understanding of genetics, and the fact that we've actually found the process by which DNA naturally came together at the beginning of all life, I'd say that it makes the most sense for life to have followed the path that has been backed up time after time. Unless some sort of greater being put all these red herrings in place, to which I say why? why go through all that meticulous trouble just to fuck with people? It doesn't make any sense to me.

I assume you have all noticed the significant increase in low quality bait threads immigrating from /pol/. I know that the average quality of threads here was never particularly great, but over the last few months they have become brazenly baitish in their deliberate ignorance.
I propose a simple change to the standard site capcha so that it may include simple mathematical or physics questions. This is easier said than done, but I believe the overall improved quality of this board will be well worth the investment. Of course pass users will still be able to bypass the capcha. But at least we'll know they aren't shitposting for free.
