Questions about math used in physics

Can someone explain to me the Lagrangian and gauge invariance, and/or point me to good sources to learn about them from? I am Googling it, but I want to get as many different sources/explanations as possible to make sure I understand it.

Seed oil consumption coincides with rise in disease

No.14223221 ViewReplyOriginalReport
It's not just s-o-y beans that are effecting people's healh, oil derived from seeds are contributing with increasing rates of obesity, type 2 diabetes, alzheimers, etc.

Cut these oils out of your diet and you will feel so much better.

Here's a page that compares graphs charting out rise in consumption of seed oils and disease prevalence: https://www.wtfhappenedin1980.com/

The picture I posted is a small fraction of data presented on this site and If you're interested then I'd recommend that you take a look at it for yourself.

Paradoxes

No.14222092 ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
So I've been thinking at this lately, paradoxes exists, something as simple as:

> This sentence is false

But what are they exactly? I mean they seem to me like a limit in knowledge itself: we simply can't know the "right answer".
So what if paradoxes exist also in the "material world", what if there exists something we simply can't manage to understand.
Is this even possible? Are there any examples?

What's the point of trying to execute so many projects in parallel if 95% of them end up being half assed or right up scams, like FSD or the solar roof tiles?

>Tesla
>Starlink
>Neuralink
>Hyperloop (This one is a scam 100%)
>Cybertruck
>SpaceX
>Flamethrower
>Solarcity

What's the fucking point? Maximize the amount of government money you can get in order to reduce taxes?

I have recently discovered a small deposit of fossilized plant matter including some incredibly well preserved seeds.
Would this be something that the botanic gardens or a local university would be interested in?
who should i give the seeds to?

At what age did you get prescribed glasses or contacts? Are you aware that using glasses for myopia makes your vision worse over time?

Martian gemstones

No.14220090 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Would it make sense to fund Mars missions by bringing back gemstones found on Mars?

We know that Mars has gemstones, opals, peridot, etc.

The whole diamond industry is built off of inflating the prices of diamonds and marketing them to people to make them think they are worth something.

You could put a price on Martian gems for a couple hundreds thousands or millions a kilo, have them be some super uber luxury product, bring them back from Mars on a cargo starship and boom, that can fund long term space and Mars missions.
