almost all sugary foods people eat contain tons of fat, and yet they wrongfully blame the sugar
also, saying that sugar is "cancer fuel" is such a ridiculous misrepresentation of the facts that it makes me laugh
yes, cancer cells primarily hog sugar, but that's because they can't use regular oxygen-driven metabolism, so they use glycolysis instead
however, to then conclude that consuming sugar is bad if you have cancer is literally the diametric opposite of the truth, in fact what's actually observed is that if you try to "starve" cancer cells of sugar this way, what they do instead is still hog the endogenous sugar you produce, as well as nutrients from surrounding cells that get stressed and start dying from the metabolic stress of fatty acid metabolism
in contrast, if you consume tons of sugar, you are feeding your cells properly while the cancer cells still have to rely on glycolysis, so your regular cells now have literally 20 times as much energy as the cancer cells to outcompete them with, as well as remaining healthy and intact so the cancer cells can't feed on their remains
