The purpose of pleasure is to encourage activities that are beneficial for our survival, correct? Why is it that there are things in nature like heroin or tobacco which activate our pleasure systems? Additionally, why are things like oils and fat so necessary that we get pleasure from using them?

I am a man. I am 5'10" which is average here. My dad was 5'7" and my grandfather was 5'6". I think the reason why I grew so tall was that during my childhood I was a pig and I ate everything whether it be junk food or protein-rich meat. Now, if I breed with a woman who is 6' or taller, would my sons be taller than me? The average height is constantly rising and being beneath the average would launch havoc on a man's confidence.

Can somebody explain why zeta(1/2 + i*14.1347251417346937904572519836...) = 0?
I just don't understand how Riemann and colleagues proved that this irrational complex number somehow outputs 0 when you input it into the Riemann Zeta function.
By what means does that number process into zero?
