Lots of science is either transparently fake or highly questionable. Everyone knows that dark matter, covid-19, global warming are fake, but are there other lesser known aspects of science which are also completely fraudulent, but somehow escape publicity or criticism and maintain the appearance of legitimacy? What about dendrochronology, how real is that? Is otorhinolaryngology legit?
