I want to build my own little biology lab set up at home. What's the best way to go about buying hematoxylin and eosin stains? And is there a way I can obtain human or nonhuman tissue samples? Any other recommondations on essentials I might not of thought of or general equipment advice welcome. Surely someone else has done this kind of thing before?

The European Commission recognises gas and nuclear as green energy

The European Commission recognises gas and nuclear as green energy, despite the opinion of its own experts against it.

>The European Commission has approved on Wednesday the final Delegated Act on the Taxonomy of Sustainable Activities, which classifies gas and nuclear as sustainable energies for the ecological transition. The decision comes a week after the EU's expert advisory group issued a report rejecting the change to the regulation.

>The green taxonomy regulation aims to steer private investments towards economic practices that are more environmentally friendly and help accelerate the ecological and energy transition. With this change, gas and nuclear are put on the same level as renewable technologies such as solar and wind. This means that these two energy sources will receive the privileges of non-greenhouse gas emitting technologies.

What's /sci/'s opinion? I, for one, agree with the nasty EU. (anti-nuclear shills not welcome)

People out there read something like this and don't immediately laugh. Can society be saved at this point if people are so comfortable letting big tech think for them?

It seems like everyone's first instinct is to look for a fact checker to secure their delusions for them. I even get flamed some times by people who say wow you took so much time thinking about all this what a waste....

It always baffles me how people have hours and hour to watch netflix, but they don't have half an hour to read about injecting novel MRNA directly into their body.

Is this true? I took 2 Pfizer vaccines. Do I now have small sharp metal pieces flowing through my bloodstream? Is the body able to remove these pieces over time? What are the long term consequences?
