In Greek Folklore the Dorian tribe of ancient Greece trace their ancestry back to the union of Herakles and the 50 daughters of King Thespius whose sons were chased from Greece only to return centuries later as a massive tribe who would conquer most of Greece.
While not a exact example the story lead me to question, assuming there was no further outside genetic input, like on a colony on a far away planet, how many unrelated women would it take to create a genetically healthy population from one unrelated man?
Is this generation smoking crack ? I'm pretty sure that are still young people who use the good and old paper and pen. However, it seems like youtube is now considered a '''''legit'''''' educational tool ? What in the hell ?
I calculated the value of what i'll call "dimensions" cause I don't know what else to call it. I calculated 4 as you can see in picrel.
1 = 10
2 = 45
3 = 120
and the 10th = 1
because the 10 digits can only be combined one way if you don't care about the order or combination.
How do I find the value of the other 6 dimensions? ( 4 5 6 7 8 9) without doing it manually?
My final answer im looking for is the sum of each dimension obviously, but also the total sum of all the dimensions. maybe a fun problem for you nerds :D
I'm not a racist, but I never really do anything social in STEM, including joining any groups/committees yet alone diversity committees and have proven track record in anything. The only brownie point I have is that I'm atheist (minority) but that barely counts.
Is there a link between attractiveness and intelligence?
Hypothetically, the most intellegent people could be the one's who are less dysgenic, and thus would be the most attractive as well.
The "intelligent" ugly nerd stereotype is just uglies hyperspecializing in something to appear intelligent, but in reality they do not the mental fortitude of their superiores.
Canada has caved to the truckers and ended it's mask mandates. What is going to be the fallout of this? Does science have any prediction of what the results of this potentially dangerous move might be?
All that you touch
And all that you see
All that you taste
All you feel
And all that you love
And all that you hate
All you distrust
All you save
And all that you give
And all that you deal
And all that you buy
Beg, borrow or steal
And all you create
And all you destroy
And all that you do
And all that you say
And all that you eat
And everyone you meet (everyone you meet)
And all that you slight
And everyone you fight
And all that is now
And all that is gone
And all that's to come
And everything under the sun
