For the last two years I accumulated travel grants, and now with the COVID situation no longer an issue, I need to find some conferences to spend them on.
Is there a website that aggregates upcoming scientific conferences?
I would really like to go to Japan and any major conference related to computation/medicine/biology would be suitable.

I want to drop out of my Ph.D. Change my mind

No.14293392 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I am finishing my second year in a biochemistry science/engineering Ph.D. program at a major private university in the U.S. I have come to believe I should drop out with a master's after I qual due to a diminishing interest/aspiration for what I am doing. I also have no desire to keep bashing my head against the wall towards doing a dissertation with hardly enough money from the stipend to support my wife and I's shitty suburban lifestyle. I also have a mood disorder that I control with medication, but the stress of school often tips me into a depressive state. Multiple graduate students have committed suicide at my institution over the last couple years, I don't want to be one of them.
People on the internet seem generally very split about mastering out. Opponents say it's unethical because I wasted this poor massive institution's money and the funding/time of my PI. (I've been to his house, he's not hurting or anything, and he has tenure). Proponents say you can regain your freedom from the academic establishment, get back 3+ years of your life, and start working as a scientist in industry to make decent money. Honestly, these all sound like good points and I don't see any real downsides other than making a few people at my university angry and losing the opportunity to be a PI, which I don't want anymore anyway.
In my desperation, I now ask 4chan:
What do?

what function can i use to know the orientations and positions of each and every body involved in a locomotion gait? on top of physics and gravity too. So 9,8m/s2 and then with the target speed towards a certain xyz position in 3d space, please help me find the values of these somehow. or just the specific functions that produces the final orientation angle and xyz position of the realistic motor pattern. Thank you

Not in STEM pls be nice to me.

Are all of these things related by some underlying concept or fundamental idea?

>Gödel's theorems
>Cantor's diagonalization
>Halting problem
>Busy beaver numbers
>ZF Set Theory
>Lambda calculus

Basically I have been reading about them and it seems that they're actually all similar solutions/theories related to the same underlying problem. Is there an abstraction or something that connects them all? What branch do they all fall under?

Looking to read up on multibody dynamics that makes an organism does what it does in life, from locomotion to simple actions... how the right poses and its counterposes are generated, self balanced symetrically into a nonlinear dynamic motor pattern... so i can sort of know how poses motions themselves dynamically in gait cycles without going "out of balance/limits", as in loooking natural but also has some bits of dynamic variety to it
