Vet is more a calling than professional path.
You have to REALLY REALLY want to be a vet otherwise you will not be happy with it.
You have to train as much as Medical doctor and get much less pay with very little room to move up to more pay.

It depends.....There is some wicked talent at State Universities like University of Wisconsin and Penn State. People sleep on Carnegie Mellon too for some reason even they pretty much created the computer science curriculum that other schools use for US, including MIT.

After 2008, a lot of fantastic students started going to state universities more because of the cost savings and they didn't win the scholarship lottery. My alma mater was like this. Pre 2008 it was the safety school for the region and now I'd be SUPER lucky to get in applying with my high school credentials.

Carnegie Mellon is better than any of the universities stated in this whole thread. It is the only one that produces applicable results for the modern world. But it is in Pittsburgh.

I think an issue with this idea is the reactions of other humans. This process is going to take a considerable amount of time. Most people are thinking and responding in the order of milliseconds, while this technique is going to take at least 5 seconds. So this is probably going to limit social interactions but maybe that is a sacrifice that is worth the outcome.

Alter 5. You don't need a hundred examples per idea, but some way of arbitrarily making examples of it. The example that comes to mind is math. If you have some formula, it doesn't really give you anything to acknowledge every valid expression that comes from it. Being able to have many different examples is an indicator of a healthy awareness of the idea. Think like turning a Rubik's cube. Does it really demonstrate anything to have snapshots of all the different combinations.
I think it could be useful for communicating an idea, a thing important in its own right. Maybe it is important for just communicating the idea to oneself, a kind of checklist of mastery. It seems that such a checklist is still lacking because no specific number really guarantees that an idea is fully explored. In the Rubik's cube, this is like having several hundred permutations but still missing the insight of switching two corners of the cube while keeping everything else the same.
7 is also interesting, but it always seems to fail. The solution to one question seems to open more questions and will shift priorities on open questions.

Could it not get to a point in due time, where computers surpass people through a random technological breakthrough leading to computers exponentially building off their own knowledge base? I mean if you're talking about a machine that cant forget anything and has perpetual awareness of literally everything it's ever come across, do you not think that could outpace human beings eventually if left to its own devices, provided we reach that point? Doesn't have to be now, could be a few decades to a few centuries, but given how technology has exponentially progressed in the past few decades alone, it seems like only a matter of time at this point

Essentially infinity. Running out of various resources just means changes in lifestyles and population sizes. The common threats cited as possibly wiping us out, be it climate change, nuclear war, bioweapons, meteor strikes, widespread famine, or any other popular reason, are all either not resource issues or things that will reduce population to a different carrying capacity rather than end it.
Certainly we can come up with unlikely things such as running out of soil but there's no danger of that happening. Depleting soil of nutrients would be a problem but only short term as nutrients do get renewed over time, especially in volcanic areas. Our population would greatly decline but would survive.
