Hi /sci/
I have a Nintendo Gamecube that will only read disks after being powered on for 15-20 minutes. Before that, as soon as I press the power button, the disk spins for 5 seconds and then stops spinning. After 15-20mins, I reset the console and it works perfectly.
I'm not expecting you to know how to diagnose and troubleshoot a Gamecube, but generally speaking, what could cause an electronic device to only work properly after it's been "warmed up"?

Please don't tell me to post on /g/, or even worse, /v/

thanks /sci/fags
