How do ppl remember stuff so well? I graduated in EE with above a 3.0 but i can barely remember stuff now.

I want to be smarter but I have a hard time remembering stuff and not losing my train of thought when keeping track of multiple things

Seems like we have another Denisovan/Neanderthal/Archaic Modern Human in Dragon Man/Homo longi. Some scholar niggas think it should belong to its own species. Thoughts?

best books on branching fractals?

trees, rivers, lightning
a lot of things in nature follow this pattern.

from just looking at it with an uneducated eye, it looks like it is a function in which seperates with 2^n pathways starting at 2^0 = 1 (nice) then just continueing to branch with variability/randomness/chaos

are there well defined formulas for this and interesting books to read on this?

this is a cool read (first thing I found on google):
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3922496/

but just something more general and mathematical explanations

I just got an offer from a startup. It is a very cool project I'd love to work on. It pays well, and investors are literally hurling money after it. I truly believe in the project. It has great potential, and the money could be insane. I trust the people worki.ng, and they are legends in my (small) country's startup-world
Thing is - I have a job already, which has great pay, and tons of benefits that you can't really put a price on (friends, support from above, security). I like the work, but it's not amazing.
I do want to move over to the startup, but I fear losing my job security. I got my current job from sheer luck (my grades are shit, no idea why they selected me)

What do I do? How can I make this choice?

If science understood everything it would have solved all problems by now. The truth is science is very incomplete and the world still sucks because science hasn't cracked any codes yet.

Novel Cooling Method (EVS Cooling) Provenance 04/22/2021

IF
Room temperature superconductors become available
AND
We couple this technology with MoSe2/WS2 capacitors, the same ones used in the experiments for the high performance persistent optronic RAM by emplacing such a capacitor on either end of a superconducting nanotube
AND
The capacitors rapidly volley electrons back and forth in resonance with the phononic activity of atoms in a polymer, a sheath of which is wrapped around the nanotube
THEN
Through a variation on the 'many metronomes effect' phononic activity should decrease due to the interaction between the electrons and the protons in the nuclei of the material to the cooled.

Your thoughts?
