I've had a bad day, so it would cheer me up to dunk on modern black hole theory.

What you've been told about black hole theory is wrong. You've been told that particles enter the event horizon and fall into the singularity. They don't.

Massive particles move through timelike space between null geodesics. At the event horizon there is no timelike space because it is nothing but converged null geodesics. Null, lightlike space.

Physicists have tried to explain away this problem by performing coordinate transformations. Yes, they conflate geodesics which are solutions with arbitrary coordinates.

The most hilarious of these are the Eddington Finkelstein which not only change no geodesics but are ln(0) singular at the event horizon.

I already feel better about today having told you that our modern black hole theory is a joke. Thanks.

What percentage of the labs at your university had pic related attached to their doors? At my college, Villanova, it was around 30%, though they were all on the basement floor as political material was banned on campus, so the real percentage may be higher.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Godzilla Singular Point. The physics is extremely advanced, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the content will go over a typical viewer's head. For example, the script was written by a theoretical physicist. The fans understand the "technobabble" has meaning; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these scientific exposes, to realise that they're not just accurate- they say something deep about science as a whole. As a consequence people who dislike Godzilla Singular Point ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the in depth conversations between Mei and Yun, some of which the writer himself admitted was over his head. Are you even familiar with “Ontogeny and Phylogeny,” “Machine Learning and Epigenetic landscape,” and “Closed Timelike Curve and Computation and BEC”? I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Toh EnJoe's seemingly endless abyss of knowledge unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

Is it possible that our brains have different interpretations of reality? For example, all Internet browsers render the same exact HTML code, but they display webpages differently
