supposed you locked someone up inside of a cell and did not allow them to see anything except for the few things they must need to see for the experiment.
They were born there and grew up in the cell.

I still cannot grasp the full meaning of the Laplace transform / transfer function. What I got is that if we consider the restriction of the s-domain to the positive imaginary axis the tf spits out the frequency response of the system (modulus = gain and phase). What I don't get is the meaning of inputting any other complex value into the function and what's the interpretation of the output.

For example, recent studies show that hay fever prevents many types of cancer. Would not taking allergy meds make whatever is happening to prevent cancer more potent? Or would someone unmedicated with hay fever be in danger of an autoimmune disorder or other inflammatory issues from the immune system going to hard?
