Hi /sci/ I analyze gases trapped in ice core for a living, including the iconic CO2 and CH4 record. I also have fair knowledge about other proxies in ice core such as water isotopes, chemsitry (borehole temp, dust, volcanic peaks, lead concentration, salts, etc).
AMA. Any question specific to experimental techniques would be appreciated. I acknowledge that eventually the topic will drift to climate change general, I'll try to answer the best I can but I'm no climate modeler

>>13378264 It seems you spend a lot of time in Antarctica. Is it true that the first movie you watch in winter season (after the last plane leaves) is The Thing?
Do you watch other films that day?

Have any scientists manage to prove this is true?
More and more people risk not believing the Holocaust is true if those professionals don't do their job.

>>13388176 Anon posted examples of grandmas jailed for holocaust denial as a response to your post that supposedly holocaust deniers are genocidal thugs.
Which you interpreted as that you should change your view on holocaust because they were jailed. So I gave you benefit of the doubt and assumed you missed his point out of dishonesty rather than out of stupidity.

Just a reminder that we now have the materials (like Zylon or 1000G) strong enough to create a space elevator on the Moon. We simply need to put around 8000 tons to LEO for that (just 80 Starship launches).

>>13386468 the elevator itself is a passive structure, climbers would be powered by solar panels

>>13386380 Yea. We need one to build our first rotational habitat. It would suck to use all the moons water up on rocket launches.
The real question is how to manufacture the tether on the moon from insitu resources.
Actually scratch that. The moon may not need a space elevator if we can build an eggective maglev launch platform.

Is there a scientific reason why so many right wing people in the past and present are bottom loaders? It’s almost as being against innovation and progress makes you more sensitive to having a dick up your butt, which is fine but still weird.
