Ghost DNA

In relation to black people, what is ghost DNA? Before you ask, no, I'm not a racist or an adherent of any /pol/-tier ideology. I'm just genuinely curious about this. And please.....leave politics out of this. This is not /pol/. Let's not have yet another thread devolve into a shitshow because retards want to propagate the culture war.

Is this legit or a just meme? Eurasians have remnants of Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA, so it's not like possessing the genetic material of archaic hominids is new.

CREATIONISM = RACISM?!?

>Scientific American: Denial of Evolution Is a Form of White Supremacy

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/denial-of-evolution-is-a-form-of-white-supremacy/

Okay, why the absolute fuck are we ignoring the science denialism of all of these other groups & pretending that not only that creationism is exclusively a white thing but also linking creationism with white supremacy?!?

It's obvious creationism is the product of human fears of dying & non-existence and there is a general existential crisis in rejecting any belief of an alleged divine origin of humanity for a purely materialistic origin. While there may be some anti-"non-white" racial elements to creationism among whites, it is far from the main driver in the belief of creationism especially when so many other ethnic groups & religions have denied the evidence. Not only that, but many non-theistic white supremacists have twisted the theory of evolution to validate their white supremacy. Furthermore, making it into a race issue is counterproductive. Calling a white creationist a black-lynching Klansman isn't going to shame him into believing in evolution. It will only make him double down even more. Nor giving a "brown people" pass to non-whites helping to promote science either.

Do you really remember more in a physical book vs ebook or is it a meme? I know there are studies that claim that, but who knows what to believe. Are humans really meant to read physical books because of how our brains work, spatial awareness and so on?

Last year I bought an e-reader and I do feel like I'm remembering less but it could also be a placebo. I thought I would love it because of how much time I spend on my laptop, but even reading on my laptop or phone feels better than an e-reader because I can still scroll and feel progress. On an e-reader, the screen just kind of blinks for a second and suddenly there are new words.

why are scientists so bad at math when it comes to estimating budgets and deadlines?
the people who will tell you that they can calculate the age of the universe down to the second are the same people who need several decades of leeway when it comes to estimating how long it takes to build a telescope. does anyone else see this as paradoxical?
also a few thousand percent over initial budget estimates seems to be par for the course, whats up with that?
