Apparently I have an IQ of between 125 and 130

I still struggle to learn how to program or to study anything really. I think I have some sort of attention disorder. Either way, how do I fix this so I can absorb scientific knowledge more easily? I think my issue is that I can't study. Or maybe I truly am a brainlet.

Three fermion generations

No.13407106 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Why are there three generations of fermions?
Why is each generation heavier than the last? Does it hold for neutrinos?

And don't give me this "I don't know" shit, obviously you don't know. Give me your best guess. Schizo models accepted. Remember: every model appears schizo until it is validated.

I've started putting clap tracks and music over science lectures because it's very effective for helping me learn ideas when they're punctuated by rhythm.
I only recently learned how to interface with video editing and audio editing software in the last few weeks, so pray the quality might improve as time goes on but I hope to introduce some of you to new ideas with my new genre of remixes called Losci, low fidelity science. lofi science

Boiling bleach

No.13403253 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Let's say that me and my brother are both retards and we decide to boil bleach to make sodium chlorate, and we end up making a significant amount of chlorine gas (enough to smell it, but not enough to see and green/yellow fumes). After we started to smell chlorine we stopped however we were probably exposed to chlorine gas for at least a few minutes. It's been about half an hour and neither of us have any symptoms of chlorine gas poisoning and we were outside when we boiled the bleach. Are we going to die /sci/?

Roulette odds predicting

Unrelated picture

Good day anons, first and foremost I'd like to make it clear that I do the following just for fun and with small cash quantities at long time intervals. Getting hooked on to gambling is always a mess.

Anyway, for a time I've been using several roulette odd prediction apps on gambling establishment's automatic tables. You introduce manually the numbers that come out for a while and the app calculates odds for certain avriables, like hot & cold numbers, black/red, high/low, warnings for incoming probable landing spots...

By using such systems, I've definitely noted an improvement in winnings, and I just wanted to know about your experiences, as I've always liked the inner workings of roulette.

Sleep Thread

No.13404288 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Work and life have been so stressful and difficult recently that I’ve been passing out as soon as I get home and waking up a few hours later, then taking liquid melatonin and going back to sleep. Is this a bad cycle? I feel well rested when I wake up both times, but I know it’s abnormal

I've got a bone to pick with physicists, especially high energy theorists. You see, planck units are invented to allegedly be free from anthropological bias. To which I say, valid enough. You can construct any reference scales for units that you want. That's fine. Here's where I take issue: Where the fuck do you get off on ascribing physical meaning to these units?
>Planck Epoch is earliest time in the universe
>Planck Length is smallest distance in the universe
>etc.
All these planck units are taken as de facto physical limits of the universe. That's an anthropological bias, because you're asserting that the only fundamental constants used to describe the universe are the ones that we've invented in our models. That's absolute bullshit. Furthermore, it assumes a unification between gravity and particle physics can be made, for no reason beyond human arrogance that we've cracked all the mysteries of the universe with two models that MUST be unified, because it makes us feel better. There is no physical law that says these models must be unified.

There is NO defense for ascribing physical meaning to planck units.
