I reason that anyone with a functional brain will eventually get to the conclusion that life is generally not worth it, so I want to ask /sci/ how did you get over it? or if you don't how do you cope with it?

Let's say I'm hunting. The guy behind me mistakes me for a deer and fires an arrow into my head, obliterating a shitload of cognitive wetware. According to these ideas, there should be realities where the arrow just missed, and I continue with my current brain state. Wouldn't those be the brain states most closely related to my current one? Why would I suffer the injury at all from my perspective unless there was no possible world where the arrow missed or no BB out there approximating my next possible state?

So wouldn't merely getting a head injury rule this out?

1. Know that despite ideas about the afterlife, the only guaranteed life that we will live through is this one and it would be a shame to let that single opportunity go.

2. No matter how shit life gets understand that your perspective largely dictates on how much that would affect you.
