Any evidence whatsoever suggesting negative effects of long term magic mushroom use(assuming no polydrug use)? HPPD seems to be rarer in the case of mushrooms from what I've researched, but what else is there if anything?

Sure, but the effects aren't toxic in humans.
It's like saying house cats are dangerous predators. That's true in a sense, but they're also domesticated and don't prey on humans.
And you also have to consider that many mushrooms don't produce any abnormal physiological effects at all and humans also enjoy those as edible food.

We have such a dynamic relationship with this ancient organism, I think it's strange anyway.
It's strange because it's so unique. You wouldn't believe it if it didn't exist.

i just realized it is very easy to do division and then take the remainder and simply make that a fraction

12/10 = 1 and 2/10ths
21/9 = 2 and 3/9ths
500/37 = 13 and 19/37ths

idk why they didn't teach this in school. plenty of situations in which this would be useful. i feel stupid for not realizing this in elementary school though

now i'm thinking more and it's like shit.. 3 divided by 8 is... 3/8ths... and 8 3/8ths is 3.

Liquids are both (practically) incompressible and exert pressure on objects in them. That's why boats are V-shaped (front-to-back perspective) -- the water exerts upward pressure on the boat on top of the effect of buoyancy.

Fun thought experiment: If earth were flat this effect would be greater and you'd want the "V" to be steeper than on a round earth for purposes of optimization because the amount of air in the submerged portion of the hull acting as a ballast would no longer be more important than the water pressure in keeping the boat afloat.

Fun challenge: could you design such a boat optimally? How about on a planet with a smaller/larger radius? Can you write an algo that optimizes boat shape?

Is anyone aware of any studies comparing the second dose timing and delta variant immunity for astrazeneca? I'm seeing a lot of people calling for the second shot to be brought forward to <10 weeks but the original lancet study (admittedly only one study in a limited population with a different variant) showed that efficacy was best when the second shot was over 12 weeks.
Were there any follow-up studies showing the efficacy at different second does timings?

Now is when it matters to me since we've got delta spreading around in the community. Either I can bring forward my second az shot (currently at week 6) or I keep waiting the full 12 weeks and have little defence against delta.
They're also using vaccination numbers to decide when to end the lockdown so being vaccinated sooner could also help reduce the length.
Against delta atsrazeneca is 92% effective to reduce hospitalisation after the second shot but they didn't compare the timing of the second shot in that study.

For someone double vaxxed with Pfizer in Jan, the vaccine would only offer 16% protection against symptomatic infection, and only 82% against hospitalization.
