As a neuroscientist, could you refuse to use embryonic stem cells and animal testing in your research, or would this, realistically, be detrimental to your career prospects?

The circle of humain life sucks ok.
You get born, you learn about the world, you learn about the stars, you learn about yourself. You learn everything which is pretty much nothing on the grand scale, but it doesnt matter because you fucking die. Back to the void.
Now a new bastard gets born, if he is as curious as you he might learn the same shit, probably arrive at different conclusions. But it doesnt matter because he too shall soon die.
And on and on it goes.
Why didnt our genes make us naturally immortal? Whats the bloody point? There just go to be a better way.

Ethical Psychopathy?

Can an ethical Psychopath exist? Someone who does not feel emotional empathy but whose reason leads him to follow the cathegorical imperative? Basically, a "good robot"? If we suppose that ethics can be deduced from reason alone and not feelings, they should exist.

is there any way to write a schematics that ll simulate walk cycles like this pic but also in various other angle in 3d space? basically predicting its xyz coordinates or maybe 3d rotations of sorts
there are like robotics and IK but i dont see how that is worked on into maybe a trajectory or a series of image that ll move like this, as they seem to use either actual robots or Cg

This topic would usually be posted on the /x/ board but because it's scientific in nature I decided to post it here instead. Eric dubay (a popular flat earther) uploaded a very convincing video with conclusive evidence the Apollo 13 moon mission was a fraud. For moon landing believers can anyone of you refute this video on a scientific basis?

You can see from the image exactly how wavelengths contract for objects in transverse motion in relation to a stationary source. You can even use the Pythagorean theorem and derive the formula for the Lorentz "contraction" from this image. Since the Lorentz "contraction" is exactly equal to Doppler shift, you can see that it's actually Doppler shift and NOT Lorentz "contraction" that causes the phases of separate beams of light to cancel in Michelson-Morley interferometers.
It's just Doppler shift.
It was always Doppler shift.
All you have to do is look at the picture. It's really, really obvious.
Relativity is just Doppler shift.
