Why do (((people))) pretend that this is a scientifically backed medical reference and not an overly broad collection of anecdotes?

Why isn't your country building nuclear power stations?

Pic related is Hinkley Point C in Somerset, under construction by French firm EDF Energy and due to open in 2026

>Britain could build up to seven new nuclear power stations as part of a radical expansion of homegrown energy following Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, the Business Secretary has said.
>Ministers have agreed to set up a development vehicle, Great British Nuclear, to identify sites, cut through red tape to speed up the planning process and bring together private firms to run each site.
>The Telegraph has revealed that a US energy developer linked to Elon Musk is in talks with the Government to build "hundreds" of small modular reactors across the UK.
>Last Energy wants to build its first "mini-nuclear" power plant by 2025 and has identified a site in Wales. The company will invest £1.4 billion to build 10 reactors by the end of the decade.

Why does the universe exist? Why does the atoms that created the universe exist at all? Did it create itself or did some higher power create it?

Is it really that hard to get to Mars?

No.14357198 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Am I the only one who thinks it wouldn't be that difficult for some billionaire to set foot on Mars?
If you accelerated constantly towards mars at its closest at say 2g, you'd be there in 20 hours or something, so if you accelerated constantly at 2g and then decelerate at 2g halfway you be there in about 28 hours. My maths is probably off but the point is that it wouldn't take the 9 months or so people say it would take.
So what's stopping people from doing this? Give me the million and one things I've omitted

Could a monkey impregnate a woman? Or a man impregnate a monkey? What about a rat? It's hard to find information on this topic.

Hello /sci/ I'd like some help on how to properly conduct an experiment that I have to redo.

>hyphotesis:
I can avoid mold from forming inside a food using what appears to be a simple piece of plastic in a red cover, it has been treated in a special way but it does not need any electricity, nor needs to touch the food directly, no chemical agents were added to the food nor the magnet.

>buy 2 plastic food containers, a box of blueberries
>place a camera Ezviz, that looks at both containers, place a clock, thermometer and hygrometer in front of it
>show on camera that both containers are opened and placed as they came from the shipment, while wearing gloves
>show receipt of said blueberries which are still in the box
>while on camera: I open and randomly distribute them evenly between the two boxes
>1° box has nothing, 2° box has the red square, they are kept at a distance because I think that the range of the little square is a sphere with an area of 1.4 meters circa, it extends equally in all directions around 70-72 cm.
>I took photos, every 2 or so days circa, noted when mold first appeared
BUT
>I made a mistake whereas I did not account for the specific type of mold inside those blueberries, so both of them have it anyway. I can fix it for another experiment though.

At this point
1) I assume I should quit it but should I restart it with other blueberries? I was thinking of doing also strawberries
2) Anymore data I should try to gather?
3) I have a tool that measures Nitrates in food, is it worth anything such measure? I was thinking of measuring the two, at the beginning and at the end
4) The time of the experiment I was thinking around 2 weeks because that's usually how much and even less than it takes for something outside the fridge to be destroyed by mold

The "crowd" for this sort of project is more of a proof of concept for potential buyers, so I am not aiming to get published, I lack credentials, know-how and can't reveal HOW I did this.
