I often wonder how different my life would be if I wasn't an unmotivated loser. Last year my professors encouraged me to get an REU and I brushed it off because of my own self loathing. I know I have the talent for this shit but there's just something wrong with me.
Does anyone else know this feel?

Is vaping really that dangerous? Why is there so much pushback against it while we still accept alcohol and drinking?
Vaping is supposed to be 85% less dangerous than cigarettes and the nicotine by itself isn't that harmful aside from the addiction it causes.

I said since the last decade. Cigarette companies have bought up the vaping companies and have been advertising it to kids to get around the cigarette bans. I have no idea what covid did, but the statistics was something like 1/3 of all middle/highschool school kids doing vaping in school before Trump took office.

That's really interesting, i guess it applies to casual smokers?, can't imagine a heavy smoker doing better against COVID than a non-smoker if they're are both relatively healthy outside of that.

Would you need retrothrusters on the other side of your ship to counter being blasted away at the velocity of the projectile in space?

I see that on the Space suit EVA scale but never Space ships. If the velocity of the ship 'under steam' enough to counter a force like that.

Better to just strip any surface defences with guns and lasers then board her.
