Averages for a brainlet

No.13673783 ViewReplyOriginalReport
/sci/,

Literal brainlet here. I have a question that Google isn’t answering...well may be it is but I’m too dumb to understand.

I have two sets of data.

>The average of the first data set is 82.53
>The average of the 2nd set of data is 92.59

Can I just average these two numbers to get an average of all the data? Or is there a special formula I need to use?

Am I over thinking this? I feel like just averaging the two numbers I have is too simple a solution.

Also, does anything change if these two numbers represent percentages?

Why do we feel empathy for insects and other animals that are powerless against us?

I can easily crush a spider in my room, yet I expend effort trying to safely get it out of the window.

There's no advantage to me in any of this.

"A set X has the least-upper-bound property if and only if every non-empty subset of X has a supremum in X.” from our professor

but going by this definition dosent it necessarily follow that R does not have the least upper bound property?

Moreover, for (0,1) then 1 is the least upper bound which means 0.999999......=1 ?

needlessly ambigious course out of all that ive taken giving truth to what everyone says about anal

How often are doctors and other medfags (and police, I guess) lying when they tell people this?
Sorry if off-topic. I though it qualified since it relates to the practice of medicine.
