So I'm 21 yr zoomer, and in last 6 months i grew 3 centimeters in height, despite the fact in my age males are supposed to stop growing, aside from this my chest and facial hair continues developing.
Unironically what causes this? Is this late puberty or something else? Could it be due to food additives?

If the Earth suddenly slowed it's rotation down so that days lasted 30 hours instead of 24 hours, would the human body's wake-sleep cycle extend and it would be normal to stay up for say, for example, 20 hours and sleep for 10 hours? Since the sun would be "out" for longer the body and mind would think it's still day time (which it would be)

Anyone else think it's strange how big of a disconnect there is between science and it's actual application. Trades pretty much all benefit from scientific advancements, but trademen generally don't care about the science behind their work, and they are frequently anti-science nuts jobs. Likewise, scientists spend their entire life learning about at a niche subject, while remaining completely clueless about the difficulties involved with applying that subject in the real world. Like how to source something, how to keep costs down, what brand of machine to use; scientists have zero interest in these type of problems. Engineers are also notorious for designing parts without any consideration for how a machinist is eventually going to make it. How did we get to this point?
