What the fuck is even going to happen to catch up? Is the whole of public education going to collapse on itself? Will we just adjust standards so we pat highschoolers on the head and move them along, if they can add and subtract and write a basic sentence?

trying to babysit shitheads from uneducated single mother pothead households and expecting them to become become learned and cultured people is futile anyways imo, and I think any good teacher, even at university level, is doomed to hate their life when they find out that most of their students give 0 fucks and would rather not be there. the focus should be on providing opportunities for the students capable and willing to take them. the willing part is the hardest part imo, its hard, especially with mediocre underpaid high school teachers, to get kids to really see and understand what there is out there and make them passionate about academic pursuits.

Flouridation of water has not had the harmful effects which has been suggested on either:
General health/lifespan or
Neurological health

Over fluoridation can actually accelerate tooth decay and will kill in sufficient quantity but fluoride has had a major impact on US dental health for 70 years.

You either figure out a way to deal with it or you don't. Note that a lot of people who get rid of one very noticable tick do so by replacing it with some less noticable tick.
Realistically you can get rid of the leg tick but more often than not it'll be replaced with tapping your feet or chewing the inside of your cheek or some shit that might not be as noticable but is still there nonetheless.
Once you've replaced it with one of those work your way to replacing the replacements into something even less noticable.
Repeat until you force yourself to not have a tick.
