Professor gave an unreasonable amount of problems due tonight and I'd rather just bs my way through the homework and actually learn it tomorrow.

All the ODE calculators I can find just give the general solution and don't go through the tedious step of finding possible values for A and B (or C1&C2 etc. if you prefer).

Additionally, if there is a way to do this in Matlab, that will also work.

I don't know what shit woman major you're in, but in my classes, late work gets a fat 0%.

That aside, I found that Symbolab can solve the whole thing with the right parameters, so I just got a fat hundred on the assignment.

Something like that could work. Easier in some ways than carrying around multiple notebooks/binders. But consider: carrying multiple notebooks/binders around wasn’t actually difficult to begin with. I would consider a device such as this only if the problem that it solves, actually is a problem for me right now.

First off think about safety, especially if you are alone. I did my PhD in a lab and had more close shaves than was healthy. Two in the law were sent to hospital, another tasted 20 kV and leaped like a frog across the lab.
We have had a few lab horror stories threads in the past and my experience is far from unique.

Get a lot of safety stuff including gloves, visor, lab coat, fire extinguisher, fire blanket and more, hopefully you won't need any of it.

The gap is genuinely massive. IMO true genius has trouble describing ideas to midwits because they are unable to grasp the connections.

My main distinction between midwits is How/What do you do vs why are you doing it. They're exceptional at following methods and computing the correct answers due to checklists. They make excellent coders. But they are lackluster at solving novel problems. A "smart" person is able to figure out why you use methods you use and extrapolates usage into other situations/fields/problems. Midwits can solve linear equations with a matrix, but won't notice situations where problems can be solved by matrices where it isn't explicitly stated.They are not able to extrapolate knowledge from one situation to another if the situations are even slightly different.

Midwits think they're smart, so they do what they think smart people do. They'll randomly deconstruct things that don't need deconstructing. They'll act like what they believe geniuses behave like. They'll misuse tools on things that may not even be problems. Instead of forging new paths they're trying to find new ways to interpret the old.

I get where you are. I didn't pay attention to maths in high school and I've set myself back now that I need it. You can catch up though, you probably know more than you're aware of.

Depending on what you're doing, you probably only need a primary level since that'll get you through day to day math needs. If you don't know that well, start by learning the Hindu scratch method for addition, multiplication, subtraction and division. It's super easy. Also, play math related games like 2048 to start getting used to doing math in your head.
