What is a good writing tool?
Ball pen are bad because the ink fade after several years. I wrote down my password using pencil and ball pen, the password written using ball pen faded after several years, and the one written using pencil is still good and clear even though the paper has turned yellowish.

Why do different frequencies produce such complex symmetric interference patterns? I have taken mushrooms a few times and these eerily remind me of the patterns I saw. I'm just curious as to the science behind it. Does light behave I'm the same way as this?

Looking for some help /sci/ . Lets say you have 10,000 measurements of an object. The object is labeled A or B based on this measurement. There is a number for that measurement which is a decision point. If the measurement is below the decision point the object is labeled A, and if it is above it is labeled B.
How would you statistically and visually depict whether this decision point is correct? How would you identify a better decision point?
