When scheduling classes for university, how do you find out which ones make you do the least work in them? Is there any place to scope out the course material beforehand?

Information diffusion through networks

No.13739608 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I've been looking for information diffusion models through (social) networks for a few weeks. However i couldn't find anything that could answer my question: if I were to tweet something, to publish some facebook or linkedin post, what is the model that better depicts the people I'll reach?

Many papers use the SIR model, as information spreads on social media like a virus. However they lack estimates of coefficients such as beta (infection probability) or gamma (removal probability).

Has no one really thought about this?

Toriod Earth Theory

No.13737572 ViewReplyOriginalReport
One likes to give flacc to the flat earth conspirators, who give flacc likewise to the globalists.

However, as is in science, it is the models with the most explanatory power that is given homage. In order to reconcile these two models of reality, I present to you, Toroid earth theory.

TLDR:
The earth IS a flat plane, at least, in local spacetime. If one decides to venture a distance outside the gravity well, however, the curvature manifests and becomes apparent. This flat plane is electro-gravitically warped by the inner star. Obsevations of inner earth are littered throughout the ancient texts, with entrances at the north and south poles.

As we can see, Since flat earth geometry is retained in the local frame. All flat earth predictions are preserved. However, from a non local reference frame, globe earth phenomena are preserved. Observations of the fold around the polar ice caps are recorded in the historical record.

Any questions?

What is the evolutionary advantage of fainting?

Have you ever fainted before?

I randomly fainted and it felt like a machine shutting down or maybe even dying.

Can you remember being in a pram? Or drinking milk as a baby? My earliest memory is age 5 and then age 7 and that's it, completely blank from before that and it's vague till 9-11. I have always been this way. I read authors who write about their earliest experiences some of them describing memories from when theh were 2. What controls this? Can I learn to remember those memories through some kind of repeated activity?

Cryonics has an ~80% probability of working according to some really smart fucks. Storage problems and bankruptcy is unlikely and it's very clear that nanotech will be advanced enough in a few hundred years such that all damage from freezing could be repaired/backwards-inferred. I'm banking on reaching longevity escape velocity in the 2090's, and if not I will have cryonics as a plan B. Who here is planning on signing up or is currently signed up? You are planning on becoming immortal, right anons?

10 years ago, Germany, Spain, and Belgium spent billions dismantling their nuclear plants
Today, they are all sucking on either Russian or French titties.

Germany who so advocated for Green energy and nuclear phase out is France's biggest importer. Oh the ironing
Can't wait for them to make a fool of themselves by shutting down their last nuclear plants next year
