Is 30s too old to go back to school?

I'm mulling it over, but I'm afraid that being in the same class as people ten-years younger than me will be creepy. Especially after that one story a local Title IX coordinator told me about the amount of times she's had 25+ reported to her department, simply because having an older student in the same class was enough to make others uncomfortable.

If you have to ask, the answer is most likely yes and you're just looking for comfortable lies.
Anyway, there have been some late bloomers and self-learners throughout history (like the self-taught mathematician George Green) so maybe it's never too late to give it a shot, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high if I were you.
If you have nothing better to do and you have a genuine passion for whatever it is you want to study, you might as well try. If you're in it only in the hope of making money, you're better off trying something else that doesn't require a college degree.

Linear regression assumes all the known datapoints follow a sweeping pattern. You can predict unseen values within the data, or extrapolate outward (tho this becomes very inaccurate with real data)

two variables (x,y) in the regression formula results in a straight line. You can add more variables in the regression (multivariate) to add more curves.
This is mid level statistics.

Wolfram alpha will do a simple linear regression for you if you hand it a series of numbers. (Pic)

If you search multivariate linear regression there are probably in browser tools to do one with more variables.

in this case you plug numbers into x to get the next predictions in sequence.
there are 4 numbers so your next predicted number is 3.4x-2 where is x = 5 (15), x= 6 (18.4) and so on. this linear regression will never predict a number less than the last one. This is in the nature of a linear regression. It can only express one overall trend in the data and IRL there's a lot of patterns acting together. Stock market predictions can use linear projections but only for predicting short term trends.

Nobody I know has been killed by it. Everybody I know that tested positive for it say it was a mild cold that passed in a few days.
