Think about it; We don't see VN probes. Okay, big deal. Maybe that very specific scenario is just not how it works. Maybe ayys communicate by sewing zebra-like creatures together. I mean, we are assuming quite a bit about our target. We can come up with something wholly exotic and STILL it is probably not half as strange as the real deal out there.
Its just more bad philosophy from (what I am told) was a great scientist.

Why we don't simply create 2 economies?
One where people can compete with each other and burn empty an die during that process.
And one where we build light bulbs who last 10 generations and you can earn a living with one day of work in your life?

First of all I'm monogamous and don't cheat, but I've been thinking about the psychology of it
Is there any inherent moral problem with cheating?
Everyone seems to agree unanimously that your own insecurity/jealousy is your own problem, not your partner's. As far as I know, cheating on your partner doesn't hurt them except by making them feel jealous or inadequate.
I know it's wrong to lie about it, or to break a promise, but is there anything inherently wrong with cheating itself?

Do animals experience time differently? For instance, some birds are known for having extremely good eyesight. Does this mean they have a higher resolution, or a higher "refresh rate"? Do any animals have a provably higher "refresh rate" to their vision, allowing them to see smaller, minute movements? How would these animals experience time? Would it pass more slowly for them due to the quicker "tick rate"?
