I'm going to post this here even though I see that /sci/ has largely been coopted by anti-thought /pol/ types

I don't really care anymore, I'm losing the battle

I wanted to be a laboratory scientist in youth. I still read journals and studies for comprehension today. I am extremely skeptical and care a lot about "good science". The idea of "trust the science" is pretty sickening because those saying it don't understand science, and the current crises in science are so many that we're effectively entering a second dark age simply through lack of progress that should be expected. This is largely due to poor methodology and selfish goals.

That being said. One dose of the Moderna vaccine, 6 months and two weeks ago, seems to have given me permanent tinnitus from which I cannot recover. My life is ruined now, despite having a lot, and I don't know how long I can really take it anymore.

I'm not going to stay around to discuss this, it'll hurt too much. I just wanted to say this, somewhere, where someone might find it useful for their own decision making.

I really wish I could go back to before that time. You can't imagine how it is some days.

I got covid jab today from Astrazeneca
I'm feeling fever like symptoms

What is the difference between AstraZeneca vaccine and Janssen? Do they use common flu from monkeys and infect aborted cell lines and later purify the immune response cells? How does it work?
Why do both Janssen and AstraZeneca use adenovirus from monkey instead of common human flu to produce the vaccine?
