COVID-19 and Prion Disease

No.14371293 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Could COVID-19 possibly result in CJD? Could the vaccine result in CJD?

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why the vaccine is being mandated. One explanation to me that seems plausible is that COVID-19 inevitably results in prion disease, hence the extreme impetous for everybody involved in making sure that the world continues to run (government employees, military, public services) receives a vaccine that may potentially prevent COVID-19 from resulting in CJD. Then, the unvaccinated die off in a staggered fashion, given the poorly understood nature of prion disease incubation periods.

I then also think that's all bullshit and the vaccine stuff is just a powerplay/government hamfisted response/mass hysteria/russian misinfo.

I've seen and read the paper by J. Bart Classen

https://scivisionpub.com/pdfs/covid19-rna-based-vaccines-and-the-risk-of-prion-disease-1503.pdf

I've tried to do some digging into his background and it seems shaky at best, but who knows how much of that is by design. Not sure what to make of it.

I've also seen some other strange things. Given the supposed rarity of CJD, it seems odd to me that some high profile events have been occurring:

https://christianresearchnetwork.org/2021/05/21/nobel-prize-winner-warns-vaccines-facilitate-development-of-deadlier-covid-variants-urges-public-to-reject-jabs/

I'm aware the last two links above are probably very right leaning and have some sort of agenda to push, but the guy who discovered HIV is coming out against vaccination. Not sure if he has some hidden agenda or not.

Would love to hear everybodies thoughts about this. Am I being irrational?

Radiation dosage measured in greys

No.14372539 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Can someone confirm or debunk this? They're talking about russian soldiers hanging out in ditches they dug in Chernobyl. So that journal linked says the highest dose received via soil sample would be 1750 micro gy per hour. Since gy is measured per kilogram of the subjected organism. Wouldn't you multiply the 1750 micro gy * body weight in kilograms? So a man who weighs 200 kilograms would receive twice the dose in gy as a man who weighs 100 kilograms?

Physics

No.14369164 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Has anyone successfully applied it in real life? I'm getting class on speed equations and later will get fluid kinetics but unless I intend to work on that (I don't) then I don't see what's the point of learning those equations I won't ever use.
