Can AI generate child porn that is indistinguishable from the real thing?
If so, should real porn using live subjects be banned in order to prevent the spread of AIDS and other STDs

I need some advice. I've recently been considered for a new job at my university, as technical help for cleaning out a lab. So there's three different department heads on this project, who all got emailed out of the blue about this lab they didn't know they had. No one's talking to eachother, I can't find who is funding this project, and I don't know who even sent out the email in the first place. All I've got is my lab manager saying it's, "above your pay grade, I know it's annoying, but just try to ignore it".

Is this something I should be concerned about, or just keep my head down while I throw away chemicals for a summer?

Scientists are the enemy of mankind.

They destroy and wreck children with medication and academia which only serves to rot the brains of children away.
This world would be better off without scientists and intellectuals.

Darwin advocates suicide

No.14374362 ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Life has no objective meaning. Meaning is a social construct. As such, there's no concrete reason for which humans live. Everything you do will eventually evaporate, which means it doesn't really have any value in itself and thus you pursue these things for your happiness. Of course, if you care about others, then their happiness is also that of yours. However, emotions are evolutionary. They are not rational. Why should you prioritize your own emotions? Why care about them so much?

Thus, is there any scientific reason by which suicide isn't rational? A common misconception is that self-preservation constitutes the first measure of rationality, but aren't you starting with an unjustified premise? Why (rationally speaking) should you care about your well-being?

If there was a scientific consensus about global warming, wouldn't they be the ones warning us about it?
