Tl;dr but it's not like you'll get it anyway, even if a kind of generic subjectivity that is always present to itself, it is not you in any meaningful sense. When you're dead you're dead, better start making good use of your time.

i bought a dufflebag from this guy who used it as a bag for rifles. i want to clean it up and use it for luggage.
i figure it probably has lead residues and stuff on it from being at shooting ranges and such.
is it fine to just like, soak it in detergent in a rubbermaid tub? does that remove lead?

i also read that you can dissolve lead with a solution of hydrogen peroxide and vinegar, but i dunno if that's a good idea.

Anyway, for whatever reason people always ignore chemistry in these discussions which makes no sense. You will never be able to arrange silicon and metals into a form that can be as intelligent or energy efficient as biological tissues. It's not because humans or animals are detached from the natural world or something, it's precisely the opposite.
Proving this is going to be difficult but I fully expect by the end of the decade for some brilliant madlad to do so.

I believed it needed mass, to increase the thernal inertia, and that required a target mass of several kilos with a striker of hundreds of tons traveling at 100 km/s. Perhaps this british company just encases the deuterium target in an anvil cell of tungsten, so its locked on all sides by tungsten walls (including the projectile) so the heat is confined much better than in an open air reaction. Very nice, their theory is at least feasible on paper.

The good part is not doing it at a scale. This is hard to do small, with small deuterium capsules. I used to think you needed several kilos at least, these guys are likely using less than a gram.
