This is anecdotal conjecture but from my interactions and experiences the people with higher IQ tend to not worry so much about how much they make as long as they make enough and are stimulated. I haven't had tests done on these people to confirm of course but the people I'd wager to guess were in the 110-125 IQ range tend to be the most obnoxiously obsessed with having their accomplishments be known and pursuing jobs for the sake of salary rather that job satisfaction.

It's not an exaggeration to say the US government is aware of the location at all times of nearly every nuclear weapon ever created. If a cartel had possession of a nuclear device they would be eradicated without mercy in minutes. Even if they were trying to obtain one it would be treated the same. Anyone who runs a cartel is smart enough to know the US doesn't screw around with nukes.
