Thoughts on dentistry as a career as opposed to medicine? It seems to me that it can be at least equally as profitable as medicine and doesnt necessarily require specialty training after dental school.

What are the implications of the fact that there are only ~20000 genes in the human genome? It would appear to be tractable to develop a complete model of each member of the species, but surprisingly there appears to be no attempt to do this yet.

Is it just me or every college/university is like that?
>teachers don't give a shit
>they just send thousands of homework and it has to be done in little time and all by yourself even if they assigned you on a team you'll probably end up doing everything by yourself
>they don't want you to cheat on exams but how do they expect you not to cheat when they didn't teach you shit
>you end up cheating in your exam with good sources, they fail anyway
>the only way to pass the course is by doing all the thousands of homework they sent you
>they make you to repeat the course because they passed the guys who were repeating the class for the third time and you have to take the same class twice because fuck you
>most classmates are older than me
>my work in the lab is good and better than most of my classmates but because my report didn't have the exact words that my teacher wanted to read or just lacks any fucking random thing then everything is bad and he fails me
>I passed some classes and fail other classes for no reason at all
>incompetent dean messing up my schedule and not putting me in classes that I selected, probably because they want to keep me more time there just to keep taking off my money

is an electrical engineering major worth it?

Going into uni, picked EE. I guess i'd want to go into finance. Honestly I love buidling stuff.

Will I benefit from an engineering B.s?

What are some interesting niches I should consider? Not just money wise but interest wise as well. I don't want to be a code monkey but I'm a damn good programmer if I do say so myself
