I’m going to graduate with a degree in electrical engineering. Then I will get a decent 9-5 job and make decent money and live a peaceful life. The rest of you can slave away day after day trying to make a name for yourself in the pure sciences or mathematics. Good luck.

>>14280214 Turkey. I want to study in the West because my chances in the field of molecular biology and genetics in Turkey is not as good as they are in the West, advancement wise especially.
But nowadays I also reconsider studying MBG in the first place because what interests me would probably get me cancelled in a few seconds, it would never get funded. Which is a shame, I don't know what to do with my life anymore.
Sorry for blogposting

>>14280235 Thank you for a serious response. It sounds like you are pretty based. Unfortunately, the west doesn’t reward that anymore. I’m in a similar position in some ways and I don’t know what the hell to do anymore. I suppose the best thing to do is to take care of my family and loca community.

I'm having a lot of trouble with this question, i can't think of where to start and i would really appreciate some help.
Consider an ideal spring-mass system. A spring obeying Hooke's law can be deformed only along a given direction (X axis) has one of its ends fixed and the other free, where a mass m is attached and can move. Use a coordinate system where the mass coordinate also indicates the spring deformation. (1) In a general way, describe in this coordinate system all the pertinent vectors just after the mass starts moving. (2) Use Newton's second law to determine the trajectory of mass m after it is released from rest with the spring stretched (positive strain) by A0 units of length and comment on your results. (3) Calculate the mechanical energy, as well as each of its parts, explicitly as a function of time and comment on your results. (4) Qualitatively, comment on the modifications introduced by placing this spring-mass system in a fluid, such as the atmosphere, for example.

Do we have information about past habitable zones in this solar system? For instance, was Venus ever in a habitable zone? If so, do we know how long it was in this zone? Will the habitable zone for our solar system eventually move even further out to encapsulate Jupiter? Is it even possible for Jupiter to ever become habitable?
