Dr. Lucia Hartmann, head of WBF Aeronautics proposes her brand new Vulva Spaceship concept

No.14288415 ViewReplyOriginalReport
The Vulva Spaceship is designed to make a strong statement about gender equality in space, to move beyond the phallic representations that the industry is accustomed to. It underlines that anyone has a place in the universe, regardless of physical characteristics.

Dr Lucia Hartmann reports that the spaceship is surprisingly aerodynamic, creating way less drag when the vehicle punches through earth's atmosphere. Due to its optimized v-shape, it guarantees maximum fuel efficiency. It's reinforced carbon exterior allows it to withstand the most extreme temperatures.

WBF Aeronautics has submitted a petition on change.org, and they hope that ESA will scrap Ariane 6 and consider their project instead if they reach 500 000 signatures.

Sewer thread

No.14287357 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Here's a really cool map showing sewer outfalls and their drainage areas in New York City. Did you know that 70% of New York City has a "combined sewer system", an old type of sewer system where stormwater from roofs and streets runs in the same pipes as the sewage. Such systems are designed to overflow during heavy rainfall, which means that instead of the sewage/stormwater mix going to the treatment plants, a percentage of it goes straight into the waterways, through outfalls such as those shown in the map.

>Most of the fatberg discovered in Whitechapel in London in 2017, weighing 130 tonnes (130,000 kg; 140 short tons) and stretching more than 250 metres (820 ft), was converted into biodiesel.

>But building separate sewers in New York would be prohibitively expensive. Instead the city is constructing huge underground reservoirs where the overflow can be held until water levels subside and the waste can be safely pumped into the treatment plants without spilling.

I just had my bike stolen for the fifth time in this cesspit of a town that I'm trapped living in - Luton. I'm thinking about installing high voltage capacitors on my next bike and wiring them to a couple of nails shoved in the seat. What would be the best rating capacitor? Enough volts and farads to get through the average shell suit, a pair of filthy underpants and some skid marks. Also would it kill him? I'm sceptical as the current isn't going across his heart.

The "New" Sciences

No.14289981 ViewReplyOriginalReport
There are 5 scales: Heat, Energy, Luminesence, Material, and Unknowable. Fire and Ice, Water and Electricity, Light and Darkness, Air and Earth, and Life and Spirit. These 10 things act as sliders to find the distinct value of all things in the universe. In addition, these characteristics are so universal to our perceived reality that any and all creatures to exist in a similar capacity to us has to sense these things.

Corvids, Elephants, things with tentacles, others, are intelligent enough to communicate. We could find middle ground through the basic sciences and construct a framework to further their and our understanding of the world.

TSAR BOMBA

With the yield of Tsar Bomba at 57 megatons and the fact that it was a hydrogen bomb, is it possible they used up all their hydrogen atoms for it and now only have fission devices?

Does social media or the internet have cognitive effects on your ability to solve problems or recall information?

Surely continuous spikes in dopamine must have a neurological effect that changes your aptitude, no?
