Biological Manipulation

No.14318623 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I've heard a lot about biohackers, the brave guinea pigs for science that fuck with their own bodies, but what about with other people? For example the pheromone idea of using human pheromones to make someone attracted to you like how hunters can use deer piss as a lure (although this hasn't been done yet).

Why is the earth so seemingly stretched near Keller Lake in Canada? What's the scientific explanation? It looks unreal.

I'm afraid that I might have fallen for the data science/ programming meme.
I'm currently 20 years old. I started uni as soon as I left highschool, at 18, but I just did the first year of chemistry. I heard that getting a job through a degree on chemistry was quite hard, specially in my country, and so I went for the "trendy" career which is data science, machine learning, etc.
First semester was quite alright because most subjects revolved around maths, which are my specialty, and because basic programming wasn't too tough. However, the deeper I get into this, the more I see how soul-crushing this is. Does anyone here have any experience or advice in regards to these careers? I've been thinking about swapping to finances/ pure maths maybe, after all I'm not passionate about any option, I just want a steady job that pays well enough and that is math related to a certain point. And no, I don't think /g/ would be the appropriate place to make this thread on.
I apologize for the blogpost.

How Long Is Too Long For Engineering Degree?

No.14312884 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I am an absolute brainlet. I started my engineering program in 2018, and right now I am sort of in between second and third year. I might have to retake multivariable calculus and solid mechanics, which would set me back another year. Am I completely fucked, or should I just keep going?

A message from Wall Street to all of the scientific saviors who've dedicated their lives to what they knew at the outset would be low income work. Thank you scientists for doing everything you've done to advance human progress an prosperity, you have achieved the prestige and respect that you deserve.
