A question for my /med/ bros here..
Hypothetical: let's say that I had a fair sized knife plunged into the palm of my hand. Would I be at risk of permanent damage? Like if I was a guitar player, would this be a potential thing? Or would I pretty much be ok? Are there nerves that would prevent the optimal functioning once I healed with enough time? Hypothetical

Is there any limit to COVID-19? It seems to get more infectious per mutation but surely there must be some limitation? Like how there are absolute limits to cold and heat or something like that.
It just seems like the perfect virus from a virus point of view.
