I'd suggest you also read through this and understand the concept of Focus 15 and Focus 21. Really, for us that state is functionally identical as we're mentally linked to a version of ourselves outside of time, acting as the middlemen for messages between the past and the future.

you can't test the scientific method on itself thus making it useless and psuedoscience

I've had some pretty ideas/constructions regarding math, specially propositional logic, dynamical systems and analysis but I left them collecting dust in one of my notebooks while I worked as a wagie for a year and now I can't understand what the fuck I wrote down in detail.
How do I get my math vocabulary back? Any books I should read or maybe even reread?

This is Amateur Hour General. This is for all of you with "Big Ideas" which might be bullshit but you want to argue about them and try to assert yourself.

If you have a big ego and little to back it up, if you can make name-drop some vague scientific concepts to "legitimize your claim" without any sort of measurement or studies. That's what we're all about here.


If you've got some dope arguments about science that aren't "proven", bring it here. Claims like "Show me a study" or "false logic" are for people trying to cop out of an argument, unwilling to address points, and instead attempting to "claim victory through forfeit".

If you need some practice writing, using rhetoric to justify your claims and theories, this is the spot. This is proxy-science, because we try to use our understanding of science to produce arguments, but don't actually try to use science.

We're on step 1, hypothesis, and as we likely don't have the means to further our arguments empirically, we must rely on rhetoric or other indirect means to justify our claims.

Supposedly, when people place orgonite pyramids over a container of freezing water, it creates an unusual pattern.
I'd normally write this off as scam artist hoaxery, except that they invite those told to reproduce the "expirement" themself as proof, amd there's quite a lot of online activity of that very thing. In essence, it seems replicable, though the environments aren't exactly controlled.

So, assuming orgone, the metaphysical energy of orgasmic life force, is not, in fact, what is being channelled here, which i think is a decent assumption though i suppose i could always be proved wrong, what could an inert lump of organic resin, metal shavings, copper wire, and a quartz crystal be doing to create such a disturbance pattern in the water?
Is it acting as some kind of 1920s crystal radio?
