Where do I start learning chemistry? I'm an adult male in mid 20s who didn't learn shit about chemistry in school. I'm smart enough to learn, I just need the mateiral. I want to cover the basics and then venture further. I think I'd like to learn about polymers.
Basics should be easy to cover with basic school text books/internet, but where do I find higher level stuff? Do you have any good resources, youtube channels and so on (I know cody's lab)?

Scientifically speaking, if the act of vaccination introduces an otherwise non-existent risk into your body that can lead to actual death, and if *DOUBLE* vaccination is indistinguishable from non-vaccination (or even worse if you consider the official government statement made by the UK government today), then why the fuck are people vaccinating themselves? You don't stop the covid. You don't protect yourself. You don't help society. You don't help your own elders living in your home next to you. It literally does nothing. So what gives?
Can anyone give me a good medical or statistical answer to this, maybe even game theory or something, whatever, just convince me that it's worth it to vaccinate yourself. ANYTHING AT ALL that you can bring up as an argument after looking at pic related and making sense of it.

there is next to 0 evolutionary pressure left on us
the only things that can be selected for is generally being more social and not being susceptible to a few rare diseases
we will remain in our current form until civilization collapses

I often wonder whether promiscuous behavior in both men and women always stems from some form of psychological distress. I know it applies to me. That lack of self esteem (hate to admit) has driven me to sleep around in a manner that fills that. No one who sleeps around seems genuinely happy doing so; at least that I've met. What are your thoughts, /sci/?
