That's just ultraviolet light resonating with the blue cones in your retina, it still just looks blue so not a new color.

You can trick your brain into seeing some colors that can't naturally occur. Cross your eyes so that the yellow and blue boxes overlap and stare at this picture for 20 seconds, then quickly look at something white like a piece of paper. You'll see a proper yellowish-blue instead of green.

It's an algorithm, probably minimum cost traversal of a graph.

College is bullshit unless you are 3 sigma intelligence and can grind through grad school and post grad to get a cushy professorship. For everyone else just become an engineer. That's the closest you can get to doing "real science" outside of the extremely exclusive academia. And you only have to sell 1 profitable company in order to have enough money and venture capital to fund a private science company anyway.

Most interesting research is done in private these days anyway, think of any tech company, any drug company, any of the billionaire moonshot companies. All that happens in academia is a bunch of coneheads conspire to get each other in the same journals then jerk their little ding dongs to the thought of getting published.
