hey /sci/ can you help me find a paper? it was a paper on string theory by Joel Scherk from the 1970's, with some crazy stuff in it -- it had stuff about eastern philosophy, the Yin and Yang, the "French Connection", antigravity, and stuff like that, to argue in favor of supersymmetry and supergravity and string theory.
i feel like i read it on the KEK.jp website, one of those old scanned preprints or something. but i can't find it anymore.
there is this blogpost that references it but it's by a schizo and the schizo doesn't even give a link to it: http://www.thespectrumofriemannium.com/2015/08/08/log177-scherk-susy-and-sugra/
clearly the schizo is talking about the same paper but he butchers it.
