genetics stuff

My extremely smart father (supposedly) with 3 uni degrees mated with a very dumb roastie and it resulted in me.. I don't really know why he did it and with my mother, and so late at advanced ages. As you can clearly see, since I'm posting on 4chan, I'm not a very spectacular person by any means. However l if I were to mate with a smarter female, in intelligence, would my Y chromosome have a chance to make basically.. another person extremely similar to my father or better? I know this is basic biology 101 but I need a review here..

Does stochastic calculus/SDEs have any applications in signal processing/communications/DSP? I rarely see the topic discussed outside of quantitative finance and physics.

Do the Pareto principle, Golden Ratio, and Number e converge anywhere?

No.14354621 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Since these things show us limits, rules, features, constants of reality, shouldn't they converge from the same source, or to the same place?
>Could they be used to form a religion? In other words, could they tell us what we are supposed to do and who we should be?

>in real life most people only venture so far in their own backyard and are really excited to go on vacations
>barely have enough time to learn anything in a lifetime
>star trek takes place in 1 galaxy
>in reality there are probably trillions of earth like planets with its own unique stories
>wont see it in my lifetime
>probably impossible to leave the barrier of our own solar system
>we will never visit these worlds
>Even if we did we'd probably get killed by bacteria we havent been exposed to before

How the fuck do I cope with this
