Time Travel (Virtual)

No.14427566 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I'm not smart enough to know if this would world or not but please let me know. I have a theory about the possibility of time travel.
Let's say someone put up a camera somewhere, like a live stream feed of sorts.
Now apparently and maybe I'm just remembering wrong, but the further away you are from Earth and take a picture of it, you're actually looking at the past?
Now what if you had some type of manipulation of signals coming from that livestream, or you connected to the camera from however far away it takes to see into the past...
Could you?

so I've decided to major in physics
what exactly must I do to ensure that I end up with a good career after I graduate? I know I can shoot for an IT job but do you guys have any specific recommendations? I've been a loonix user for like 4 years but I don't know any programming except basic python.

Also, I would prefer a physics job that's well paying over an IT job. Gib advice, please.

Electrical gun idea

No.14425619 ViewReplyOriginalReport
is it possible to make an electrically conductive gas and give the properties of a flame thrower to electricity in terms of behavior in the 3 dimensional space you're shooting these projectiles at if electricity behaves going everywhere, why not shoot a gas that grabs all that energy and have it more controlled then turn but some power voltage aswell develop the gun in a way you wont fuck your hands up when you use it.
