If time is continuous and not discrete then how do we pass from second to second if we're always passing through infinite time? Don't tell me the flow of time is an illusion, no it isn't bitch, you're wrong.

It's a matter of definition, planck time is defined as the time it take for a photon to travel a distance of planck length. Time is continuous, the smallest possible time measurable is discrete.

Are matter just knots in the fabric of spacetime? Or like a zipper "sucking in" space causing gravity while it moves in the spacetime fabric?
Anonymous
>>13683328 Highly likely a particle based phenomena seeing as gravitational waves don't travel faster than the speed of light and that all other field interactions have had carrier particles identified for them

>>13683343 I mean, the crux of quantum mechanics is wave-particle duality. We have both particle and wave-based models that work for gravity and they're useful for different things.
OP might just be asking for an analogy for gravity wrt. non-exotic matter (i.e. how can I visualize gravity). The usual visualization most people use for classical gravity is the rubber sheet.

>businesses are allowed and mandated to lookup a patrons vaccination status and deny them service if non vaccinated in the same of public health
So as to be logically consistent wouldn’t it make sense to mandate that non essential businesses should screen customers for violent crime and not allow people convicted of committing a violent crime into non essential public spaces.
In the name of public safety.
Should rapists and gangbangers have more rights than people who don’t receive LPD mRNA coronavirus vaccines?

I need to make a cylinder that can expand sideways in all directions by it's own radius (double in width without popping). The question I ask is what materials would I have to pick from to accomplish this? Bonus points if the material can be custom molded at home relatively cheaply.

>>13676142 Any elastomer would probably work, whether or not you can do it at home is hard to say. There are plenty of nylons + urethanes that would satisfy your needs (low durometer, probably less than 30).
You might want to consider some additional design inputs like what environmental conditions the "muscle" is likely to be exposed to, such as humidity and temperature.

Not only there is no life in the universe except on earth, you will go extinct without reaching the space colonialist stage.
