Hello /sci/entists, I'm hoping you can help me refine an idea I have.
In my physics class we are studying electrodynamics, and recently we have learned to solve simple circuits of resistors. I'm sure you are familiar with this concept: you use the properties of conservation of energy, Vtotal = V1R1 + V2R2, Itotal = I1 + I2, and so on. You can then arrive at a system of equations for the unknowns you are trying to solve for.
Here is my idea: let's say we had a circuit where we could vary the resistance using rheostats, or change the connections between points using switches. If we measured the current at different points, we would have the solution to the derived system of linear equations above. Therefore, wouldn't it be possible to build a machine which solves systems of linear equations, just using a power supply, variable resistors, and a way to measure current? And if you had a large amount of resistors, you would be able to solve large linear equations instantly.
Note that I'm not saying this is a novel idea or terribly useful, considering we already have general-purpose computers which can do this kind of thing. I just think it would be something fun for a novice like me to build.
You are in an ship accident. Its going to sink. You are male and you know they save you last. You find a young woman with an kid unwatched. You have the chance to push her from board to make it more likely that you survive. Kids and woman are also bad at paddling and will just draw you down. Sadly you are the only rational human on board all others are hard core shimps. You have 5 min to decide if you push this 2 ova board.
How will you choose?
>be me >normal day at high school >religion class >bored.png >scroll r/greentext on laptop >decide to go on the real 4chan for the first time because it seems like a funny place >4chan.org >no idea how shit works >go on \b\ >look around for a while, dont find anything interesting >teacher shows something on board so i look up from laptop and leave 4chan open >1 min after look back at laptop >see huge anime dick >fastest ctrl+w ever >realise that dick was there for the whole time >FUCK.png

i am not sure about this one. What Stops the Body from Continuing to Produce the COVID-19 Spike Protein after Getting an mRNA Vaccine.
everywhere i read they mention that it degrades fast. but my question is : if the body doesn't kill the cells that produce it would those cells be producing it until they die ?
Virus similar to malaria rips hemes off hemoglobin
Floating hemes and iron particles are toxic
Liver starts removing them
Liver gets overloaded > lungs start processing it > resulting in inflammation
Lowers hemoglobin and it becomes harder to transport oxygen
Virus evokes immune response
Sends bunch of monocytes to kill the infected cells.
The spike proteins are eaten by the Classical Monocytes
S2 protein gets destroyed inside and then monocyte undergoes apoptosis (dies)
S1 protein changes monocytes into Intermedia and Non-Classical monocytes and the S1 protein is not being destroyed in them - they don't undergo apoptosis.
Monocytes presenting the S1 protein are causing vasodilation. inflammation of blood vessels, nano clotting (long haul covid)
