The experiment goes like this you do the double slit experiment with all measuring equipment in place. The data collected is read by a computer but not displayed unless an event has a certin outcome. Lets say the Pats winning that nights football game. If Pats win the data is read if they lose the data is destroyed and never read. Whether you observe the interference pattern or the slit pattern should tell you the outcome of that nights game. In the past I have heard that even if a machine measures the outcome as long as it's not viewed you'll always get an interference pattern if that is true this should work.

I would pose a philosophical question. We can know we are conscious because we can observe our own thoughts, "I think therefore I am", but we can't prove that what the fleshly senses tell us are accurate. Think of it like looking at a computer screen. The images you see on it are of real life things, but you aren't seeing real life things you are seeing pixels on a screen symbolic of real life things. In the same way our consciousness observes the senses, and because the senses my be lying to us we can't trust what they tell us. So since we have no proof for the senses, why do we believe them? It really comes down to blind faith right? I think we can all agree that
the belief that evolution is how living organisms came to be is speculation based on scientific observation, but if we observe with the senses and we can't prove them, then the belief that organisms evolved naturally is as nonsensical as the belief in god or aliens. All we can be sure of is that the consciousness exists, and that it observes something beyond itself. I used to think the the nature of reality was realism all thought my childhood and teenage years, but these days I don't think it's very logical. Not denying that we can't manipulate what our senses tell us through the observation of cause and effect, just curious what people who insist in believing evolution think.

Hey my bulbs keep breaking in my reptile enclosure i dont know where else to ask, its a 75 watt spotlight bulb that does generate heat and the thing you screw it into (dunno what its called) has a 150 watt capacity.
i dont know a lot about wattage and all that stuff but i asked the workers and they said it would be fine though i am beginning to heavily doubt them. There has been 3 broken bulbs so far and they all break after we've turned them on and off 4-5 times consistently i dont know whats happening here please help me
